I have reviewed examples for Tomcat integration and I have reviewed examples of Spring Integration.  I have been looking for an example of a Tomcat 5.5 app that was written with the Spring 2.5 framework.  My guess is that you do a full global install of TransactionEssentials and then you lookup those resources in the applicationContext of spring.  I will be trying that next.

I am using <tx:annotation-driven/> transactions.  All is working great.  I am using Spring 2.5 on Tomcat 6.0.  I decided to go with a  self contained WAR file.  Everything appears to be running great.
