Is Atomikos compatible with Spring's OpenSessionInViewFilter?

It seems not, and throws exceptions like:
org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException: could not initialize proxy - no Session

Its not the TransactionManagers job to open the session for you. Maybe something is misconfigured- can you post the complete trace and versions used please + the spring configuration - with this 2 lines posted its really hard to help you at the moment.
