Tomcat 7/Glassfish 2.1.1/Oracle integration question

Hello,

I'm very new to this software package and would like any help that might be available.  I'm attempting to register Atomikos as the transaction manager in Tomcat 7.  My application is using spring 2.5 and has an Oracle XA datasource.  It also talks to a Glassfish 2.1.1 application server via remote EJB's.  This call also needs to be included in the XA transaction.  Is this possible with Atomikos(it is if the using Glassfish all around)?  I would assume so since both GF and Atomikos are JTA compliant resources.

I'm having trouble getting this setup and any configuration example would be helpful.  For example, there's missing files/docs for the 3.7 version which I'm trying to setup a POC with. I'm looking at the ExtremeTransactions version that supports XA over RMI/IIOP.

Thanks!

Hi,

Integration with other vendor platforms in only possible via WS-AT and web services, not via RMI (RMI uses our own protocol). WS-AT support is still early stage, though...

Maybe we can help you design your application in a way that things are easier to integrate?
