Hi.
I wanted to report a strange issue I have encountered while using Atomikos. I have a small test application (Spring + Hibernate). When I use MySql as a database everything gets saved without a problem. But when I switch to PostgreSQL data are not getting saved to the database. What is interesting that IF I'm not using @Transactional and manually begin and commit transactions - everything works fine. But when using @Transactional - data are not getting saved. Btw hibernate_sequence DOES gets updated, and only the data itself is not. And all this dispite the fact that I see in Atomikos logs that data was committed etc. Again the SAME code works fine with MySql. This issue is only with PostgreSQL. I have tested it both on PostgreSQL 9.4 and 9.5. Using different PostgreSQL JDBC driver version (both JDBC4 and JDBC3). Here is my spring.xml configuration file (MySql specific configurations are commented out): -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <?xml Forgot to mention: I use Atomikos version 4.0.4 (also tried Atomikos version 3.9.3 with the same results).
Probably it would be more useful for everybody to post thoughts and suggestion on the related Stack Overflow page:

OK, I have found the answer. I posted it on the Stack Overflow:
